Visiting the Pinnacles was a geological wonderland of sculptured weathered limestone forms.
The forms were diverse in structure, some like tall columns, others when grouped together reminded me of Rodin's The Burghers of Calais or his giant figure of Balzac. The surface erosion in some cases relatively smooth and in other places was intricate and detailed. The area is well protected by a designated road around and through the site. The area requires the visitor to stop and walk and explore.
